Programs for Men

While we are a “Men’s Support Society”, it is our belief that we do not live in a vacuum.  To effect positive change in the lives of one group of society invariably invokes positive change in other member groups of society. We therefore consciously dedicate ourselves to working with the spouses, children, parents and friends of the men we serve.

The West Coast Men’s Support Society (WCMSS) has begun, or will begin a number of programs that deal with Men, Men’s Issues and issues that touch upon the lives of others. Please click on the Group's Icon on the left to learn more about the programs. You will need Adobe Reader to download and print the flyer.  Adobe Reader is a free download which can be found here

Men's Circles - A place for men to gather and witness each other

You are invited to attend Men’s Circles across British Columbia!  This is a place where men come to be supported in all aspects of their life with no judgement; where men can hear your truth - your story.

Please contact us to make an appointment for individual counselling sessions.

Healthy Men - Remote Wellness Coaching

Our mandate is to invite men to take responsibility for their well being.  It is our hope that through a combination of educational materials, resources, programs, therapeutic interventions, workshops and conferences men will be able to take the necessary steps to take better care of themselves; and therefore be more positive members of their families and communities..

Fire & Bones - Youth Mentoring Program

Uniting Generations

"If today I had a young mind to direct, to start on the journey of life, and I was faced with the duty of choosing between the natural way of my forefathers and that of the present way of civilization, I would, for its welfare, unhesitatingly set that child's feet in the path of my forefathers."   Tom Brown, Jr., The Tracker

Respect & Compassion Program - West Coast Men's Support Society

“In the end we are all separate: our stories, no matter how similar, come to a fork and diverge. We are drawn to each other because of our similarities, but it is our differences we must learn to respect.”
